We Don’t Learn Safety Rules Simply By Accident.

The Safety Program lived by all employees of Uihlein Electric is focused on a higher level of awareness on safety in the workplace and the job site. We realize that through preventative measures such as education, inspection and timely corrective action, the causes of accident and illness can be greatly reduced.  It is our intention to comply with all standards relating to safety and health matters enforced by local, State, or Federal authorities.  We expect all employees to utilize good safety practices as posted, instructed and discussed, and to be safety conscious off the job as well as on the job.

• Our Safety Supervisor has mandatory contact with every job, every office personnel and every field technician…the ultimate supervisor.
  • OSHA 10hr and 30hr training
  • NFPA 70E Certifications

• Toolbox safety meetings are administered, each week on every job site regardless of size along with the job site hazard analysis, by the Foreman and documented.

• All personnel adhere to the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act 1988.  Foremen are certified in:
  • Substance Abuse Behavior Awareness.
  • CPR & First Aid
