Mayfair Road and W. North Avenue, the Marriott property houses 196 rooms, a bar/restaurant, and a grand ballroom. Uihlein’s role provided design-build electrical and data cabling construction for the project. Working closely with developer HKS Holdings, contractor C.D. Smith, and architect Kahler Slater, the work Uihlein performed included standard and emergency power systems; installation of interior and exterior lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm system; commercial amenities, and technology systems. The hotel is outfitted with energy-efficient lighting and a control systems package that delivers both serene ambiance and custom climate control, while also serving to reduce costs associated with facility system maintenance.
